Tze has been playing the piano for 20 years; Not traditionally classically trained in music, since young he has taught himself piano and composition. In recent years he took an interest to jazz; encountering harmonies and rhythms in jazz has inspired him to look at music from a whole new perspective; He now seeks to explore and experiment with his music, combining composition and improvised music with film score aesthetics, jazz, and also world music elements, while not forgetting the essence of music still lies in the beauty of melody. He has a Diploma in Music (Jazz Performance) from LASALLE-SIA.
He enjoys exploring various approaches to composition, arrangement, improvisation and performance, and loves to collaborate and experiment with different artistic disciplines, including theatre, dance, visual performances etc.
