Concorso per la composizione di canzoni

Condizioni di Iscrizione

• Le tue opere avranno l'opportunità di essere trasmesse e riconosciute commercialmente in punti vendita di grandi marche come IKEA, McDonald's e Porsche in diversi paesi, tra cui Singapore, Malesia, Filippine, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong e Thailandia.
• Ogni partecipante può inviare PIÙ DI UNA (1) canzone al concorso.
• La partecipazione è APERTA a tutti.
• La registrazione per questo concorso inizia il 01/12/17 e la data di chiusura è 31/05/18. I partecipanti invieranno le loro opere caricando la traccia sulla piattaforma Express in Music.
• L’opera deve essere originale e MAI pubblicata da una società di registrazione, da un'azienda editoriale o in presentazioni esterne. DEVE essere esente da licenze CMO (organismi di gestione collettiva responsabili della licenza di opere musicali, ad esempio SIAE: Società Italiana di Autori e Editori) per almeno 2 anni
• Ogni candidatura deve essere accompagnata da:
  • Traccia audio vocale pop completa.
• Express in Music si riserva il diritto di ANNULLARE qualsiasi candidatura di partecipanti che utilizzino testi e canzoni contestati in qualsiasi concorso precedente a questo concorso, o qualsiasi elemento plagiaristico nella canzone prodotta. La canzone deve essere un lavoro indipendente e originale.

Requisiti di Iscrizione (canzoni / musica)

La canzone risultante deve avere i seguenti elementi:

• La canzone è cantata con voce chiara e musica chiara.
• Sono consentiti strumenti musicali tradizionali / moderni.
• La durata di ciascun brano DEVE essere compresa tra i 3 e i 5 minuti.

Testi

• I testi utilizzati devono essere in ITALIANO.
• Stiamo cercando canzoni dall’atmosfera positiva, felice o romantica. I testi devono rispecchiare lo stile della musica. Sono benvenuti vocalisti di entrambi i generi. Gli stili possono variare dai più lenti e groovy ad una musica più allegra, a patto che l’opera rientri nella categoria pop (non vogliamo stili come il lirico, il tradizionale o altri stili vocali). E neanche stili vocali urlanti.
• I testi della canzone risultante NON DEVONO presentare NESSUN contenuto razziale negativo, osceno, non commovente e nessun elemento istintivo.

Processo di valutazione delle canzoni

• Ogni canzone inviata passerà attraverso un processo di valutazione della giuria della Direzione principale.
• La valutazione è basata sulla qualità delle canzoni, dei testi e della musica nel suo complesso.
• La valutazione si baserà anche su aspetti qualitativi e sulla qualità della creatività melodica, del valore commerciale e dell’idea e della capacità di attirare tutti i gruppi.
• La decisione del giudice è DEFINITIVA.
• I vincitori saranno avvisati via e-mail.
• Se i partecipanti non ricevono feedback da parte della direzione dopo una (1) settimana dalla data di chiusura della partecipazione, i partecipanti sono considerati non vincenti.

Premio

I premi sono i seguenti:

• Canzone Migliore: USD $ 180
• Seconda Classificata: USD $ 100
• Terza Classificata: USD $ 70
• Quarta Classificata: USD $ 50

Questioni di Copyright

• Con l'invio di una candidatura, i partecipanti (Compositori) accettano ufficialmente che se la loro canzone risulta vincente, i diritti di trasmissione apparterranno a Express in Music per almeno 2 anni dall'atto dell'approvazione. I diritti d'autore della musica completa rimangono al compositore.
• Sarà mantenuto anche il nome del compositore.
• Tutte le voci partecipanti verranno inviate al pool di database EIM per l'utilizzo dello sfondo musicale.Oltre ai premi stabiliti, i partecipanti (compositori) potranno richiedere pagamenti o royalty per la canzone utilizzata da Express in Music.

Conditions of Entry

• Your works will have the opportunity to be commercially broadcasted and recognized in outlets of big brands such as IKEA, McDonald’s and Porsche across countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Thailand.
• Each participant can send MORE THAN ONE (1) song to the contest.
• Participation is OPEN to all.
• Registration for this competition begins on 01/12/17 and the closing date is on 31/05/18. Participants will submit their works by uploading the track to the Express in Music’s platform.
• The work must be original and NEVER published by a recording company, a publishing company or an outside presentation. It MUST BE free from CMO licensing (collective management organizations in charge of licensing musical works (e.g.Music Authors’ Copyright Protection (MACP) Berhad, Public Performance Malaysia) for at least 2 years.
• Each entry must be accompanied by:
  • Completed pop vocal sound track.
• Express in Music reserves the right to CANCEL any participant that uses the lyrics and the song being contested in any competition before the competition, or any plagiarism elements in the song being produced. The song needs to be an independent and original work.

Entry Requirements (Songs / Music)

The resulting song needs to have the following elements:

• The song is sung with clear vocals and clear music.
• Traditional / modern musical instruments are permitted.
• Each song duration MUST be within 3 to 5 minutes.

Lyrics

• Lyrics used shall be in ITALIAN.
• We are looking for songs with positive, happy, or romantic vibes. Lyrics should be aligned with the style of the music. Vocalist from both genders are welcome. The styles can range from a slower, groovy feel to more upbeat music, so long as the work falls within the category of pop (we do not want opera or traditional, or other vocal styles). No screaming vocals as well.
• The lyrics of the resulting song SHOULD NOT contain ANY negative, obscene, non-touching racial sensitivities, and no instinctive elements.

Song Evaluation Process

• Each entry will go through a judicial process by the jury of the top management.
• Evaluation is based on the quality of songs, lyrics and music blending as a whole.
• Evaluation will also be based on the quality aspects of the quality of the melodic creativity, the commercial value and the concept and the ability to attract all groups.
• The judge's decision is FINAL.
• Winners will be notified by email.
• If the participants do not get feedback from the management after one (1) week from the closing date of participation then the participants are considered unsuccessful.

Prize

Prizes are as follows:

• Top Song: USD$180
• Runner Up: USD$100
• 2nd Runner Up: USD$70
• 3rd Runner Up: USD$50

Copyright Issues

• By submitting an entry, officially the participants (Composer) agree that if the winning song wins, the broadcast rights shall belong to Express in Music for at least 2 years upon approval. Full music copyrights shall remain with the composer.
• The composer name will also be maintained.
• All participating entries will be submitted to the pool of EIM database for usage of background music. In addition to the prescribed prizes, participants (composers) will be entitled to claim payment or royalty to the song used by Express in Music.
