Project Overview:
The client is a well-established M.O.E approved primary school. This project requires the revamp of the existing school song - the melody tune (i.e. score) specifically.
Increase the tempo of the song while maintaining a comfortable pace and standard for students to sing along. It will be the best case scenario to retain 100% of the original lyrics. However, if you feel that there's a need to change the lyrics to suit your revamped melody, you are advise to retain the majority (90-95%) of it. Keywords such as: |

Track Description: | (First of all, I would like to apologise for the absence of the vocals as my only mic was spoilt just not long ago, and I haven't gotten a new one.. =( Sorry about that..
So I used the instrument Trombone to play the main melody and automated the volume much louder than the backing track, to bring out the main melody. This instrumental track can also be used for any school occasion if the vocals is not wanted. =) )
This is an upbeat song, with tempo 120bpm, and in the key of Dmajor. The lyrics are kept 100%, with an extra bridge added.
The 2 verses have exactly the same melody, and this makes it easier for primary school students to remember.
I also added a bridge after the 2nd verse, and the arrangement of it hypes up the mood even further as the song progresses on to the chorus.
(the bridge can also be extracted out to be used as a cheer for any school occasion!)
The "2 parts" of the chorus also have the same catchy melody tune, with only the last sentence of each "part" different.
As the song progresses from one section to the other, more and more instruments come in, until the chorus, where the song gets really "high"!
* I composed this song with various Singapore National Day Theme songs in mind. Those songs are usually upbeat and catchy, and appeal to people of difference ages, even the young ones. And most importantly, they always get stuck in our minds and we can never forget those beautiful, catchy tunes!
Hence, I also composed this song to be an upbeat one (the drumbeat helps to create the upbeat feel).
With the chorus also made up of a catchy melody hook, this song would appeal to the students and they would be happy and motivated to sing the song.
I also believe that this song would bring out the dynamism, vibrancy and enthusiasm of the young students! =D
Last but not least, do let me know if you would like to have any part of the melody or lyrics (for the bridge) changed. Also, If you would like to hear a version with vocals, I'll look for a mic and do the recording and send you the song again. =)
